Kathleen McMahon

Kathleen McMahon was fondly known as 'The oldest biker in town'. Fr Kearns gave her this title when he asked her, a constant Mass attendant, to light the Pascal candle at the first Bikers' Mass. He explained that she was not a true biker, showing everyone her set of wheels. She needed them for walking to her front seat for Mass. She had the honour of lighting the candle at each Bikers' Mass, except once, when she was in The Royal Hospital, but she sent a lighted candle home for it.

She sadly passed away 24th August 2007 aged 87 years. R.I.P
